The Norman Endocrine Surgery Clinic is located in the Oakmont office park behind the Cracker Barrel restaurant on the corner of Bruce B Downs Blvd and Bearss Ave in north Tampa. Our building is in the very back, next to the big trees.

From South Tampa, St. Pete, and Clearwater:
North on I-275 to Bearss Ave (about 7.5 miles north of downtown Tampa). Right (east) on Bearss until it ends at Bruce B Downs Ave (about 2 miles). You will see the Cracker Barrel Restaurant and Chick-Fil-A Restaurant on your left. We are in the office park next to and behind these restaurants. Turn left (north) on Bruce B Downs and then take an immediate left into the office park. For those of you who aren't familiar with the exits on 275 going north from downtown Tampa, the exits go in this order (as you are heading north): Hillsborough Ave; Bush Blvd; Fowler Ave; Fletcher Ave; Bearss Ave. Each of these exits is 1 mile apart.

From Brandon, Sarasota:
Take I-75 North, past Interstate-4 about 5 miles to Bruce B Downs Blvd. The exits on I-75 heading north are in this order north of I-4: Fowler Ave; Fletcher Ave; Bruce B Downs Ave). Turn left (going south) on Bruce B Downs about 3 miles. This will take you through 6 traffic lights. Just before the 7th light you will see a sign for Cracker Barrel Restaurant on the right, at the corner of Bruce B Downs and Bearss Ave. Turn right into Cove Bend Drive which is the street leading into the office park and restaurant parking lots. This street is only 100 feet or so before the 7th traffic light (Bearss Ave). If you make a mistake and turn onto Bears it's ok. Take your immediate first right and you can go into the office park the back way.

From Dade City, Zephyrhills:
Take 1-75 south to Bruce B Downs Blvd (first exit south of the I-75 -- I-275 split). Turn right (going south) on Bruce B Downs about 3 miles. This will take you through 6 traffic lights. Just before the 7th light you will see a sign for Cracker Barrel Restaurant on the right, at the corner of Bruce B Downs and Bearss Ave. Turn right into Cove Bend Drive which is the street leading into the office park and restaurant parking lots. This street is only 100 feet or so before the 7th traffic light (Bearss Ave). If you make a mistake and turn onto Bears it's ok. Take your immediate first right and you can go into the office park the back way.

IMPORTANT! It is extremely rare for out of town patients to come to our clinic. We do NOT operate in the clinic. We operate at Tampa General Hospital, which is near downtown Tampa. All of the hotels that we list for you to stay at are located near the hospital. Our clinic is where all of the employees work, and where Drs Norman and Politz see patients who live in the Tampa/St. Pete area on Wednesdays. If you are coming from out of town for your operation, you do not come to the clinic, you go to Tampa General Hospital and you will spend time with our doctors there.

Note: Oakmont Professional Office Park is a new office park and Cove Bend Dr is not in the database of MapQuest or YahooMaps. Thus, you can't use one of these mapping services. We (and the other 100 or so doctors in this office park) have been in touch with MapQuest and YahooMaps but updating databases takes time. Sorry!
